SEL in Youth Sports:
Learn from the Pros!

​History is being made!

 

During Part I, the Royal NFL family “Trufant Brothers” Marcus (Seahawks), Desmond (Falcons), and Isaiah (Jets) Trufant joined together with subject matter experts in mental health and wellness, and other legendary athletes such as Shawn Kemp (Sonics), Sheryl Swoopes (Storm), Joyce Walker (Globetrotters), Shaunte Johnson (Globetrotters), Mario Bailey (UW; Seahawks), Hajj-Malik Williams (Raiders) and others to educate youth sports coaches about the importance of using social emotional learning (SEL), safety and wellness in youth sports to build character in student-athletes, increase healthy participation and combating violence.​ For Part II, we continued that excitement, including greats like NBA legend Gary Payton, Sr. (Sonics), and celebrity guests like Wu-Tang's Method Man!​

We want to continue that excitement through an amazing independent study course, which will include all playbacks, as well as a comprehensive curriculum! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Innovative Change Makers (ICM)!​
